February Collab: Imbolc  12:30 pm

Spend the afternoon outdoors, foraging, feasting, and celebrating the beginning of the year!

We are back, offering an immersive nature experience with our most recent collaboration: Welcome with us the new year with foraging, forest bathing, feasting and creating meaningful Imbolc rituals.

Early Spring Coastal Forage                   12:00noon

Early spring is when many seaweeds are at their best.  Bring scissors and we'll make use of the low tide to harvest delicious and healthy seaweeds.  Afterwards, we'll look at some February coastal greens and fungi and sample some of those foraged flavours in a variety of wild foods and beverages

Spring Equinox Feast
4:00pm

Let's celebrate the arrival of spring and go to the beach!  Meet the dozen tastiest seaweeds growing along our coasts and some of the best springtime edibles growing in coastal woodland, grassland, and beach,  gather some edibles to take home, and finish with a fire and a picnic featuring these wild flavours.

First Green Walking Lunch 11:00 am

Come for a February walking lunch on Corstorphine Hill to see which edible plants and mushrooms grow in Edinburgh this time of year.  We'll discuss edible and similar toxic species on a leisurely three hour walk, harvesting a few of the edibles  and enjoying tasty and exciting foraged food and drink samples along the way.
